Welcome

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We are grateful to God for the opportunity to share the Titus 2 Institute vision with you.

Throughout the Bible, God's people are exhorted to mentor and counsel younger members within the community of believers (Deuteronomy 6, Galatians 6, Titus 2). We believe this older discipling younger model -- in the church and the family -- is how God intends to accomplish congregational sanctification within the body of Christ. But in an individualistic, self-reliant society, the need for counsel carries a negative stigma. This carries over into the church, where the subjects that prompt the need for help are often seen as taboo. The Bible, however, clearly states the responsibility of the church to counsel those in need through discipleship, but too often in churches today this is not happening. Potential counselees do not readily admit their need; well-meaning church leaders find themselves lacking resources even when such needs are acknowledged. Thus, Christians have turned to the counsel of secular professionals and God’s church has lost its place in the life of the believer.

Titus 2 Institute (“T2i”) aspires to train Christian leaders to develop discipleship-based counseling ministries within their local churches, equipping the church to meet the needs of its members and fulfill the command of Titus 2.

It is our prayer that God will sanctify His bride by spiritually restoring her members, family by family.
